Montana Horse Ranch Saddles Up with Ann Arbor Design Firm
Ann Arbor, Michigan
La Cense Montana, an 88,000 acre ranch specializing in premium recreational quarter horses trained by natural horsemanship methods, has chosen Wagner Design of Ann Arbor as its agency of record. The goal is to reach an upscale market of recreational riders who are seeking not just to buy a horse, but to forge a meaningful partnership. With that in mind, Wagner Design, working with copywriter Susan Wilkinson, developed the concept of, ‘A kindred spirit, a lifelong bond’.
According to La Cense Marketing Manager, Beth Stefani, “We chose Wagner Design based on our past experience with the firm, their creativity, and their high standards for quality.” The fact that Creative Director Jill Wagner has a passion for horses was also a plus. Stefani further explained that, for this particular package, “an understanding of what our client is looking for – the dream of a perfect partnership – is more important than a deep technical knowledge of horses. This creative team gets it.”
La Cense Montana is the only ranch in the United States endorsed by Pat Parelli to sell registered quarter horses that are educated under the Parelli method of Natural Horse•man•ship. Working with the horses’ natural behavior and temperament, La Cense trainers take a positive and respectful approach that builds trust and encourages the best performance. Equal time and care is taken with making a harmonious match between horse and rider.
Wagner Design provides a full range of creative design and advertising services to organizations in a variety of fields, including high technology, health care, finance, retail and academics. The firm has won recognition and awards for its work in advertising, print collateral, direct mail and electronic communications.
