Ann Arbor graphic design and advertising firm, Wagner Design Associates, was recently chosen to create branding pieces for Paradigm, a new joint venture launched by the University of Michigan and the International Genomics Consortium (IGC). The creative firm designed a logo for the new DNA diagnostic company, and coordinated branding for identity materials and email marketing campaigns. For Paradigm’s web site, Wagner Design created an elegant interface that engages and informs its diverse audiences, making it an integral resource for doctors, patients and health care organizations requiring access to whole gene and multi-gene sequencing and molecular diagnostic information.

Paradigm is a nonprofit company which brings together the expertise of the U-M Health System and IGC, two leaders in using genetic information to understand and treat disease. Its first products will be especially of use in better tailoring treatments for cancer patients.

MICHR’s mission is to enable and enhance clinical and translational research. It was created by the Regents of the University of Michigan in 2006, and received a Clinical and Translational Science Award from the National Institutes of Health in 2007, making them part of a national consortium of 55 research institutions sharing a common vision. Ann Arbor, Michigan – In a competition of marketing materials for local economic development companies, Ann Arbor SPARK was awarded two first place wins for materials designed by Wagner Design Associates. The wins came in the categories of “print marketing materials” and “website” for populations between 100,001 and 500,000. The competition, sponsored by the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA), is in its 5^th year. In 2009 the Lenawee Economic Development Corporation was awarded first place for “print marketing materials” designed by Wagner Design.

MEDA, an organization whose objective is to lead Michigan’s economic development through education, networking and advocacy on economic development, announced winners at an awards ceremony held in Traverse City on September 16^th.  All submissions were categorized by the size of the community represented by the economic development organization.  Then they were evaluated based on creativity, content and branding.
